We hope they prove of use for you too!

Be safe, and healthy x

DIY Schooling Resource - Trello Board

John Griffin

Our good friend, John, loves a Trello board! He knows what he’s doing with one, too.

So, when the news dropped that schools were closing and he found himself with two primary age kids to educate and entertain, he put together this brilliant Trello template for all the parents at a loose end looking for resources to get started with. He says you can copy it and make it your own, or share it with whoever you like! Thanks John!

TEDEd

TED

TED-Ed is TED’s youth and education initiative. Their mission is to spark and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students around the world. Everything they do supports learning with an award-winning education platform that serves millions of teachers and students around the world every week.

P.E. With Joe

Joe Wicks

Thank you, Mr Wicks! This is such a lovely, wonderful idea. It’s also how our family has started every day this week with a fun 30-minute workout to get moving and ready for the day.

BBC Bitesize Maths

BBC

Is it us, or is maths much more interesting and fun than it used to be?! Are we showing our age?! Kids today are so lucky to have access to this information and way of learning. When we were kids we had to make do with an abacus and a protractor! ;)

Bitesize is the BBC's free online study support resource for school-age pupils in the UK. It’s designed to aid pupils in both schoolwork and, for older pupils, exams.

National Geographic Kids

National Geographic (NatGeo)

NatGeo Kids teaches children about the world and how it works, empowering them to succeed and to help make it a better place. Their website covers amazing facts about animals, science, history and geography, along with fun competitions, games and more. It’s well worth the time to go for an adventure inside!
